At an early age, I always had an entrepreneurial spirit. I have always wanted to connect with others and succeed at the goals I have been given. I sold the most wrapping paper in an elementary school contest in the 4^th grade by knocking on everyone in the neighborhood’s doors. In middle school, I made and passed out flyers to my neighbors that I did not know to connect with and start my own babysitting business. Business has always been my calling. During my college years, I graduated with a degree in business marketing from Kent State University in Northeast Ohio and I had a great mentor that led me into sales. Since graduation, I have only had a sales career. I was never passionate about what I was doing until I found Ortho Molecular Products and learned the importance of functional medicine from my colleagues and relationships I have built with the health professionals I work with. Now I have a passion for my job and I love connecting with healthcare professionals in the community to better their practice and watch patient outcomes thrive.

Nutrition and exercise have always been a passion of mine. I have ran a full marathon, half marathons and I have always been cautious of my diet. My mother was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis when I was 7 years old and watching her with chronic health issues made me realize my health is something I never want to lose or take for granted. Especially now that I have two children under the age of 3 years old.

I believe integrative medicine gives patients options they do not traditionally get from the traditional medical settings of standard of care. Patients are listened to for more than 3 minutes and they can receive customized care for what they are personally experiencing.

My goal of the Columbus Functional Forum is to connect healthcare professionals with other health professionals in Columbus and provide a safe space to share ideas and education to maximize patient care and accelerate practice growth.
